Do I need to do power play?
« on: October 12, 2017, 01:39:23 pm »
Ok, so I am a bit new, but I just don't understand how the Power Play thing works. For me to be Alliance, do I need to align to an Alliance person in Power Play? I read somewhere that I can become allied to Alliance just by doing missions? I don't quite follow it.

We don't officially do Power Play. Eccept perhaps when Edmund Mahon is in great danger.
Individuals are free to do Power Play on their own. This is mostly done to aquire special Power Play modules like better weapons or stronger shields.

We work the background simulation which operates a level deeper than PP. No need to pledge to any power. :)

You will become friendly or even allied to the Alliance over time by becoming allied to many Alliance aligned factions through any action you make.
Becoming allied to a faction allows to you accept higher paying missions.
Becoming allied to a superpower (like the Alliance) you'll gain reputation faster with other factions that are aligned to that superpower.

I hope that made it a little clearer. :)
